AIS TRIATHLON PROGRAM
National Performance Director (NPD): Michael Flynn
Michael will be responsible for providing overall strategic management, leadership and direction to all programs within the TA/AIS and SIS/SAS programs. He will also be responsible for all key stakeholder management (including TA/ASC/AIS/SIS/SAS/SSO/AOC and ACGA) and be responsible for management of the program including human resource and financial responsibilities. He will act as a TA National selector for elite, under 23 and junior programs. Michael will also be required to be part of the TA professional development program.
National Head Coach (NHC): Shaun Stephens
Shaun will be responsible for coaching and technical leadership of the program. He will oversee all aspects of each of the AIS/National level athletes training and competition plans and will monitor and evaluate performance(s) of each athlete and coach within the system. Shaun will lead the coaches in providing coaching services during national and international camps and competitions. Shaun will also be required to be part of the TA professional development program for identified elite coaches.
AIS Scholarship Coach: Dan Atkins
This position is a Full time position with a view of developing another high performance coach within the system. The coach will work alongside the Head Coach, National under 23 and junior coach during national domestic camps and agreed international camps and competitions to provide assistance, gain experience and receive mentoring by national coaches and other SS/SM staff. Dan will also be required to be part of the TA professional development program for identified elite coaches.
